Round and Round We Go

This 3-lesson unit provides young learners with multi-sensory activities that introduce the concepts of area and perimeter. Students position themselves to form a perimeter, and use craft sticks, geoboards and square tiles to form and measure areas and perimeters. Connections from children's literature are suggested, and learning and assessment materials are provided.
