Mobile technologies have become an integral part of our daily living. Devices including laptops, cell phones, tablets (such as the iPad), and apps are regularly being used in today’s classrooms. In K-5 classrooms these technologies are not as widely used, however their potential is enormous.
This webinar will help teachers and administrators integrate iPads or other mobile technologies into elementary schools and classrooms. Participants will learn about a wide variety of quality apps along with instructional strategies for teachers to (1) foster active, participatory learning, (2) increase student engagement, and (3) create exciting, exploratory, student-centered learning environments.
*This webinar begins with a brief overview of Mathlanding.org.
